Jim Veilleux, CEO

Jim is President and co-founder of VirtualLogger and its predecessor, VoiceLog, which he started in 1996. In its first 10 years, VoiceLog quickly grew to dominate the automated Third Party Verification and was named to the INC 500 two years in a row. Since 2004, Jim has led the company back to its initial concept – providing call recording, monitoring and quality management on an “on demand” basis. In 2006, the Third Party Verification business was sold enabling investors to realize a 520% return on investment.

Jim is a long-time veteran of the telecommunications industry, with positions at MCI, Sprint, Skytel and others. In addition, he’s worked at Claritas – a provider of demographic databases, and Doubleday, the publishing house. Jim has an MBA from Pace University and a BA in Speech and Theater from Bates College.

Cliff LaCoursiere SVP Sales and Business Development

Cliff is responsible for VirtualLogger’s sales and business development efforts. Prior to joining VirtualLogger, LaCoursiere co-founded CallMiner, the leading speech analytics software developer. At CallMiner, LaCoursiere ran marketing and established CallMiner as the market leader for enterprise speech analytics. He was responsible for closing the company’s first reference customers, and built the company’s distribution channels that contribute over 95% of the company’s revenue. The channel partners that LaCoursiere signed resulted in a 90% year over year growth from 2005 to 2008. Prior to CallMiner LaCoursiere led marketing and sales efforts at ThinkEngine Networks, Inc., a speech recognition hardware manufacturer. Previously, he was responsible for exponential sales growth at Media 100, a digital media hardware and software company. LaCoursiere holds a BS degree in economics and math from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
